Selfmade fries – Recipe #10

Published by dennisfajt on

Whether you make a burger, a steak or something else – fries always go with it. Since bought fries unfortunately contain too much Omega 6, you can also do them yourself. That’s why today there is a recipe for homemade fries.

Ingredients for one person

  • 6-7 big potatoes
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • Cayenne Pepper

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees
  2. Wash potatoes and peel
  3. Cut potatoes into fine, “french-style” strips
  4. Distribute the fries on the plate
  5. Approximately Spread 2 tablespoons of olive oil over it
  6. Season with salt and cayenne pepper
  7. Mix the fries well by hand
  8. Put in the oven at 175 degrees
  9. Cook in the oven until the fries have reached a slightly golden tan
  10. Finished!

Note: The oven should not exceed 180 degrees, otherwise there will be more acrylamides, which are classified as carcinogenic. Optimally, the plate is completely covered by the fries, so you reduce the formation of acrylamide in addition.
