Rice with tuna – Recipe #12

This recipe is easy and quick to prepare. Besides, it is very calorie, and nutrient rich. The rice provides the carbohydrates, the tuna the protein. Tomatoes and potatoes complete the dish.


  • Rice, quantity as needed
  • 1 small tin of tuna
  • 1 medium potato
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, turmeric, oregano, paprika powder


  1. Put rice according to the package instructions
  2. Cut onions, garlic, tomatoes and the potato
  3. Lightly braise onions and garlic in olive oil
  4. Add tuna and potatoes
  5. Add tomatoes and a little water
  6. Season with the spices
  7. Simmer over light heat until potatoes are through
  8. Finished!
