Couscous with vegetables – Recipe #11

Couscous delivers a lot of calories, complex carbohydrates and a little protein. Various vegetables supplement this dish with vitamins and minerals. Plus, this food is cooked fast and really tasty.

Ingredients for one person

  • Couscous, quantity as needed
  • 1/2 paprika
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • A handful of fresh parsley
  • 2 medium sized tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, turmeric, curry, paprika powder


  1. Cut vegetables into small, bite-sized pieces
  2. Slightly fry the onions with the olive oil in a pan, add turmeric, curry and paprika powder
  3. Place couscous according to the package instructions
  4. Put the couscous and the chopped vegetables in the onion pan, stir well
  5. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and olive oil
  6. Finished!
